Markus Weber - Principal Consultant
With a background of
electrical and embedded system engineering
Markus Weber specializes in the development and regulatory compliance of
critical embedded systems and software. Mr. Weber is the founder and principal
consultant of
System Safety,
Inc. in
San Diego,
CA , which provides safety engineering services for the medical device and
process industries. Mr. Weber is accredited by various regulatory agencies to
perform compliance testing and technical audits. He participates in the
development of international safety standards and advises major corporations as
well as start-up companies on safety and compliance issues. As a consultant, he
works closely with TÜV Product Service and has been TÜV lead
engineer for the certification of safety critical PLCs as well as critical
medical devices in the U.S. Educated in Germany as electrical engineer, Mr.
Weber focuses on embedded systems safety, software safety, risk management and
the application of international regulatory requirements.
