Verification and Validation

Verification and validations is the process determining that a design meets the specified requirements and it's intended purpose. Mainly this process involves testing but review, analysis or  inspection are additional method employed during the V&V process. All activities should be preconceived and the expected result should be defined before the activity is carried out (pass/fail criteria). Activities should be traceable to requirements and should be documented in detail. If possible V&V activities have to be repeatable and should be performed after the development is completed.

System Safety, Inc. performs V&V services including verification planning, plan execution and results documentation. State-of-the art test methods are used to generate results accepted by regulatory agencies like FDA or Notified Bodies.

System and software V&V activities include module testing, integration testing, emulator testing, code analysis, code walk-troughs, challenge testing and documentation verification.
